Deb gave a presentation to the lower school in the morning and the kids loved having two, well behaved dogs in school. I gave a PowerPoint presentation in the afternoon for the high school:  "How a Dog Could Help You Find Your Direction." I included a writing exercise at the request of the English teacher, and the students shared the results of this free writing exercise. Amazing!

We travel with our best friends, Deb, and her dog, Ethel, and are treated to a visit to South Beach. What a day!

Yes, it really is this beautiful!

Ethel takes a much deserved rest on the ferry ride home.

Bella rides the ferry to Fishers Island to visit the school there.

Bella and I were invited back to Stonington High School in CT to speak to the AP Psychology Class. Our topic was:  "Choices:  How Do We Know What To Do?" I shared my experiences with career choices, told Bella's story and she had a wonderful time snuggling with the students. We also discussed how the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator can be used to help with career direction, and I mentioned how I used the "Do What You Are" book in my career counseling work.

It was so nice to be with students who have just made a huge choice--where they'll attend college--and to give them some guidelines for their future choices. Bella as always, was the star!
